Ben Shephard, 45, returned to the Good Morning Britain studio on Monday as he took over presenting the show for the summer. He was joined by Kate Garraway, 53, who has also returned after taking time off to support her husband who is battling the coronavirus in hospital. The pair were back to host the ITV show as the main presenters took a break.
Ben Shephard is estimated to have a net worth of £3.9million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.
Though the bulk of his work has been through ITV, Ben has worked for many other channels over the course of his career.
The father-of-two has also worked for the BBC, presenting EastEnders Revealed and the National Lottery game show 1 vs. 100.
However, in 2012 it was confirmed that Shephard was cutting ties with the broadcaster to focus on his work with ITV and Sky Sports, where he was also a regular.
The 45-year-old star has also had jobs in radio for both Heat and Magic, hosting breakfast and evening programmes for the stations.
However, the family man has also stepped back multiple times in his career to spend more time at home.
In 2019 it was announced that he was quitting Sky’s Goals on Sunday to focus on his family with his wife Annie Perks.
Ben also does a lot of charity work, supporting the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, Haven House Children’s Hospice and the Holly Lodge Centre among others.
He has run 14 marathons since the year 2000 as part of his fundraising efforts and often takes on physical challenges for charities.
Though the presenter’s salary is unknown, it’s likely he’s earning a handsome sum for his work on ITV.
The star has been revealing insights into his London home with his family during the lockdown.
Ben’s huge house has beautiful features inside and out, including a bronze fire pit and a huge immaculate lawn.
However, much of his social media content is fitness-based as he shares his latest workouts and challenges.
On Twitter the star welcomed back Kate Garraway after months of being apart due to her husband’s condition.
“She’s back! New nails, longer lashes and blonder than ever – ahhhh it (sic) wonderful to have @kategarraway back!” he wrote.
