But, you could lower your chances of developing the condition by taking supplements, scientists have claimed.

One of the best natural remedies for your high blood pressure is magnesium supplements, it’s been revealed.

“Magnesium is needed for over 300 enzymes to work properly in the body, making it essential for every metabolic process from the production of energy to the synthesis of protein and genetic material.

All adults need around 375mg of magnesium everyday, as a deficiency could lead to palpitations, or even low blood sugar.

But, the average intake of magnesium from food is around 280mg each day.
