Asia political expert and Author Gordon Chang argued China could become more dangerous if tensions with other nations continued to rise. Speaking to Express.co.uk, Mr Chang insisted President Xi Jinping’s wolf warrior diplomacy could result in a nuclear war if it continues to test its neighbour India and other countries. He added China will eventually face more push back as it attempts to bully neighbouring nations which could culminate in the communist regime becoming more volatile and combative.

As both China and India are nuclear-loaded nations, Mr Chang warned if tensions continued to rise a nuclear conflict could soon spark.

Mr Chang said: “XI Jinping has been engaging in wolf warrior diplomacy.

“It is especially provocative and belligerent.

“It is not just in India as we have seen this across China’s southern and eastern borders.

“There has been boat-bumping and other incidents in the south China sea and east China sea.”

Mr Chang listed the many countries China is causing friction with as well as India.

He said: “That is Japan, Taiwan, the Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia and Malasia.

“There has been an increased tempo of dangerous intercepts of the US Navy and even global comments from officials.

“I think there will be setbacks as China is taking on everyone at the time same time.

“But if this happens I think China could then become more dangerous.”

Mr Chang also admitted attempts had been made from both China and India to resolve the current border skirmishes between its forces.

However, so far, these talks have been unsuccessful and Mr Chang warned China is determined to push the boundaries further with India.
