Papua New Guinea tsunami warning issued as TERRIFYING 7.3 magnitude earthquake rocks town

The earthquake of magnitude 7.3 hit offshore 11.18 miles east-southeast of the town of Wau.

According to he US Geological Survey (USGS), the quake was at a depth of 85.2 km.

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center initially issued a tsunami warning but said the danger had passed an hour later.

There have been no immediate reports of casualties or damage.
