A boy, who was miraculously born at 11:11am on November 11 in 2011, turned 11 on Friday. Daniel Saunders, who was originally due to be born on November 17, said the birthday was more “exciting” than any other one he had celebrated.
Daniel was originally due to be born six days later but doctors realised he was in an awkward position in the womb and booked his mum, Charlotte, in for a C-section on Remembrance Day.
In keeping with the theme, the youngster also received 11 presents to mark the occasion.
He said: “I’ve been looking forward to this birthday a lot. It’s more exciting than any other birthday has ever been.
“Eleven is a master number in numerology and it means I have good potential in the future”.
Some people believe the number 11 is tied to the divine and mystical, with the belief that it is a powerful number and brings with it good fortune.
It is also tied to a “higher source of wisdom” – and is “intuitive to the point of being psychic”, according to Numerology.com.
Daniel said: “It’s my lucky number and it’s easy to remember. Nobody ever forgets my birthday!”
What makes Daniel’s time of birth even more strange is that the number 11 has been his mum’s lucky number since she was young.

His mum, Charlotte, was rushed into hospital at around 6am on November 11, 2011, but there were delays in giving birth when doctors found Daniel was under Charlotte’s ribs which made it difficult to get him out.
She said: “We turned up at 6am and had to wait until we were called.
“He’d have been out earlier but he got stuck under my ribs and they took a while manoeuvring him out.
“It’s amazing that he was born with all those 11s. It’s been my lucky number since I was a young child. It’s very special to share that with him.
“And it does make Remembrance Day more special. You think back to the war and all those relatives that were lost, so you have an extra moment.”
Daniel still has the poppy that was placed with him the day he was born at Addenbrookes Hospital.
His dad, Jason, said the doctor had told him there was no chance his son would be born at 11:11am.
Daniel spent his birthday playing football and celebrating with a pizza party with all of his friends and older sister.
