A man was stabbed to death in Maidstone in the early hours of today following reports of a ‘bloody brawl’ outside a nightclub.
The 21-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene despite the best efforts of paramedics.
Three men were rushed to a London hospital and the fourth victim, another male was taken to be treated at a local hospital.
Forensic officers arrived at the scene at around 8am while a large police presence remains in the centre of Maidstone.
An investigation by Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate is underway and a police cordon has extended across the high street.
Aidan Huinh, a 19-year-old working at “Lilleys Nails”, a salon just a stones throw away from where the incident took place.
He said: “I came into work this morning and everything was blocked off by police, I didn’t know what had happened but it looked serious.
“I looked it up online and saw that *the*re had been multiple stabbings at around 2.30am.
“I have lived here for a while and I would not have expected that to happen, especially at that nightclub.
“I have never been to The Gallery because it is for people older than me, I think it is a posh club,” he added.
Kent Police have confirmed that four men from London aged 23 years, two 21-year-olds and a teenager aged 19 years were arrested on suspicion of murder.
