Britain’s Got Talent – who are Chapter 13, how old are the band and what are they going to sing?


BRITAIN’S Got Talent fans are in for a treat as a wannabe One Direction-style boyband audition.

But just who are Chapter 13? We take a look at the teenage group hoping to win the BGT crown.

Who are Chapter 13?

Chapter 13 are a boyband made up of four teenage boys.

They play all their own instruments.

The band members are:

  • Jake Slack, 15, guitarist
  • Tom Absigold, 15, singer and guitarist
  • Noah Key, 15, drummer
  • Jacob Swann, 14, guitarist
The boys started their musical career in School of Rock

What are Chapter 13 singing on BGT?

The boys are on Britain’s Got Talent TONIGHT (May 11, 2019).

They will sing  a Stevie Wonder medley.

This will include Signed, Sealed, Delivered, Sir Duke and Superstition

What West End show were Chapter 13 in?

The boys met whilst performing on the West End.

They were part of the line-up for School of Rock.

Jake played Zack in the Andrew Lloyd Webber’s School of Rock, and has also appeared in the Sky Atlantic series Britannia.

Tom also played Zack in the musical, Noah has appeared in several other stage shows including Elf and the X Factor spoof I Can’t Sing, and Jacob played Matthew in School of Rock.

Incredibly, band member Noah even played a young Simon Cowell in musical I Can’t Sing.

How do Chapter 13 know Tom from McFly?

The boys are big fans of McFly and have met singer Tom Fletcher.

They went on to provide some vocals for a musical edition of one of his children’s books.

An insider said: “Meeting Tom has been a big inspiration for the group, because being in a band is their true passion.

“They’ve seen the level of success he’s had with McFly and they want a slice of the action themselves – they know BGT is the place for them to do that.”
