Conor McGregor appears to punch old man in a pub after taking shots of whiskey

McGregor, who hasn’t fought since his defeat to Khabib Nurmagomedov last year, had been drinking in Dublin.

Footage from April 6, uncovered by TMZ Sports, appears to show Conor McGregor ordering plenty of shots from the bar at The Marble Arch Pub.

The elderly man is seen moving a glass away from him with McGregor standing close.

The clip moves on and swiftly after McGregor appears to take a drink, he seems to lash out at the man.

McGregor is swiftly ushered away from the scene while the man is unmoved from his chair.

It’s unclear if any words were exchanged between the pair before the apparent punch.

A Garda spokesman said: “(We) are investigating an incident at a pub in Drimnagh, Dublin, on April 6.

“No arrests have been made. Investigations are ongoing.”

McGregor has previously lost his cool, most famously ahead of his fight with Nurmagomedov.

McGregor and his team stormed a bus that Nurmagomedov and other UFC fighters were on causing plenty of damage.

Following the fight against Nurmagomedov at UFC 229, a mass brawl erupted inside and outside the Octagon.

McGregor was suspended for six months and given a $50,000 fine with the Irishman having been able to compete since April 6 this year.

But UFC president Dana White is unsure when McGregor will return.

“I don’t know,” White told MMA Junkie about McGregor’s Octagon return. “That, I don’t know.

“See how Saturday goes, see how September goes, and then see what happens with Conor.”

McGregor has been linked with fights against the likes of Donald Cerrone, Anthony Pettis and a rematch with Nurmagomedov.

But he is yet to confirm when he will return to UFC, if at all.
