Before the game, Neville questioned Ronaldo’s antics though he did admit that the striker joined in on goal celebrations during the game.
“It’s worth noting that in the first half there was a picture doing the rounds on social media looking like he was miserable on the bench after the first two goals,” he added.
“He celebrated like crazy for them and to be fair I’d given him a bit of criticism for sulking – he wasn’t sulking, he went and celebrated with Pepe, with Ramos on both goals and it looked like on social media he was miserable. That’s not the case.”
