The Duke of Sussex, 38, and Zara Tindall, 41, were photographed leaving the 15-minute service in honour of their beloved grandmother.

The two brothers, William and Harry, noticeably chose to travel separately in different cars when leaving Westminster Hall following the vigil.

Zara Tindall and Harry and said to have a very close relationship and have been spotted at a number of royal occasions in recent times, including at the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June.

Meghan also shares a close bond with Princess Anne’s daughter, and the couple are also said to be close to her husband Mike Tindall.

The two couples were pictured giggling together at the National Service of Thanksgiving at St Paul’s Cathedra earlier this year.

The Duke of Sussex is even godfather to the couple’s youngest daughter, Lena.

William and Harry grew up in Gloucestershire, just a few miles from where Zara and her brother Peter grew up.

Mike once revealed that he and the cousins are all part of a Whatsapp group where they exchange messages on upcoming events and family news.

He said: “Me, my brother and then a few of Zara’s side like her brother Pete and the cousins are on WhatsApp groups.

“I wouldn’t say we’re cutting edge, but it’s just easier for some reason on WhatsApp.

“It’s just what you do to try and set up get-togethers and we are going to something that is the same”.

He added: “If you are going to go, [we discuss things like] ‘Are you going to take the kids?’ Quite a lot of people have family WhatsApp groups.”

Siblings Peter and Zara have previously been described as “peacemakers” between William and Harry, with the new Prince of Wales reportedly asking his cousin to strand between the pair during Prince Philip’s funeral procession in April.

Harry, who shares a close friendship with the former England rugby player, Mike Tindall, is said to have introduced Zara to her now husband.

Mike was said to be “drowning his sorrows” at a bar in Sydney after being cut from the world cup squad when Harry introduced the two.
