RANGERS face Danish outfit FC Midtjylland in the second leg of their Europa League qualifying third round tie.

The Gers return to Ibrox carrying an advantage on from the reverse match having earned an entertaining 4-2 victory in Denmark last time out.

This is a battle between two teams which finished second in their respective domestic leagues last season – Rangers lost out to Old Firm rivals Celtic, while Midtjylland finished eleven points behind 1st-placed Copenhagen in the Danish Superliga.

Following the draw last week, the winners of the tie will face either Legia Warsaw or Greek side Atromitos in a playoff for the Europa League group stages.

Allan McGregor will likely return in goal after serving his domestic suspension by sitting out the 6-1 victory over Hibernian at the weekend.

Midtjylland centre-back Zsolt Korcsmar has completed knee surgery but will not feature here.
