Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham would supposedly prefer a transfer to the Premier League over La Liga next summer with a host of top teams preparing to make their move. Although the development would come as a boost to Liverpool and a blow for Real Madrid, there are thought to be other English sides still in with a shot.
Bellingham has established himself as one of Dortmund’s key players and he is expected to line up as part of England’s starting XI at the forthcoming World Cup. He is yet to play in the Premier League, having risen through the ranks with Birmingham City before heading to the Bundesliga in 2020.
So far, the 19-year-old has taken everything in his stride and, with 11 goal contributions to his name already this season, a big move may be just around the corner. Top clubs are already positioning themselves with BVB believed to be eyeing up a bumper £130million sale.
Liverpool and Real Madrid are considered two of the front-runners but Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United may also play their part in a transfer saga that’s expected to unfold next summer.

As for United, director of football John Murtough is believed to maintain a dialogue with Bellingham’s family after giving them a tour of the training facilities several years ago. The Red Devils supposedly scouted the midfielder on numerous occasions during his youth career.
It remains to be seen whether Liverpool’s patchy Premier League form impacts their ability to lure Bellingham to Anfield next summer. Now 12 games into the season, Jurgen Klopp’s side sit ninth in the table and they lost at home to Leeds United on Saturday.
