At the start of the season the 18-year-old was out in the cold, having angered Ten Hag and Bruno Fernandes with some poor attitude on their pre-season tour of Thailand and Australia.
But Garnacho, in recent matches, has risen to the fore.
He was impressive in their 3-0 win over Sheriff, shining on a night where Diogo Dalot, Marcus Rashford and Ronaldo were all on target.
He then followed that up with a fine display in their 1-0 win over Real Sociedad, scoring the only goal of the game in San Sebastian.
And Garnacho was unplayable when United beat Aston Villa on Thursday night, registering assists for Fernandes and Scott McTominay on a pulsating night of action.
