The former First Lady has become an outspoken critic of certain societal issues and has also used her position of influence to shine a light on inequality in the US. Moreover, Michelle also released her book ‘Becoming’ earlier this year which chronicled her life. Within that book, not only did Michelle talk of the moments she and Barack shared in the White House but also the infancy of their relationship.
In one particular extract, Michelle spoke of how Barack was different to anyone she had met or even dated before.
Praising his openness and personality, Michelle admitted that Barack had “intrigued” her.
She added: “He was not like anyone I’d dated before, mainly because he seemed so secure.

Moreover, she referenced how comfortable he was in the rough neighbourhood that they lived in at the time.
Such is the sway and popularity of Michelle that she has sometimes been labelled as a potential Democrat Presidential nominee.
Filmmaker and fellow Democrat, Michael Moore has stated his desire for Michelle to run.
Even former campaign advisor for the Donald Trump campaign, Steve Bannon has also said that Michelle would be one of the few who could unseat the current President.
Despite this Michelle has ruled out ever running for President.
