NASA Moon launch LIVE: Artemis counts down to lift-off in HOURS — all you need to know

NASA have reported that they are in the middle of an engine bleed on the giant SLS rocket. They are currently running liquid hydrogen through the engines, which is necessary to condition them for launch, for example by getting them to the right temperature.

According to the space agency’s engineers, there is a good bleed on three of the engines. However, engine number three is not performing quite as expected — “not quite getting the bleed they need to see there”.

Engineers are now troubleshooting the issue.
