International Scoliosis Awareness Day was pioneered by Scoliosis Awareness UK in 2013 “to unite people across the world to create positive public awareness of scoliosis, promote education, and bring together those affected by the condition.”
According to the NHS, scoliosis is a painful condition which causes a person’s spine to twist and curve to the side.
