Denise Richards was shot at on Monday during a road rage incident in LA, a representative for the actress said.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum was heading to a film and TV studio with her husband, Aaron, in a pickup truck when the couple slowed to look for on street parking.
A driver behind the truck began getting angry, shouting at the couple and trying to cut in front of them, they say.
Aaron, who was driving, is said to have let the man pass.
The passing driver then allegedly opened fire at their truck, in an incident first reported by TMZ.
Ms Richards was reportedly sobbing when she arrived at Popsicle Studio, where someone saw a bullet hole in the Ford Shelby F-150 truck and called 911.
“She was very shaken up and terrified, but she was a trooper and she went and filmed the whole day. She didn’t want to not show up to work,” a source on the movie set told People.
No one was injured in the incident.
LAPD, who have jurisdiction at the studio, said it had no record of a report and is not investigating the incident.
“We don’t even know where it happened at this point,” Officer Melissa Podany told NBC News.

California Highway Patrol and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department also said they did not have a report for the incident.
Ms Richards reportedly worked for 12 hours following the shooting, and her husband stayed in the studio for her whole shift.
When the couple left, they were reportedly escorted to the freeway by a police vehicle.
Following the incident, responding to a Twitter user, Ms Richards described what she had experienced as “the most terrifying situation I have ever been in”.
