A woman has been taken to hospital after she was shot on a road in north London. The victim suffered a gunshot wound to her arm. Her condition is not yet known.
Police were called to the corner of West Green Road and Grove Park Road in South Tottenham in the early hours of this morning.
Members of the emergency services, including paramedics, arrived at the junction after reports of a shooting just before 6.30am.
The young woman’s family has been informed, according to the Metropolitan Police.
A crime scene is in place around West Green Road in South Tottenham. Initial police enquiries suggest the woman was shot in the area. No arrests have been made.
